Weekend excitement

1. La Vida reunion on Friday night. So. Funny. Seriously....I had terrible cramps from laughing so much. 2. I missed track on Saturday morning before I swear I was dying of the flu.
3. I briefly recovered from my flulike symptoms enough to go out to eat with Ashley and Mindy :)
4. Anna and I went to study on Saturday afternoon (yes, this is officially my third post in a row where I mention that I've studied). We spent the majority of our time grinning as we drank our matching Peppermint Mochas (romantic, right?). It was buy one get one free so of COURSE we got the largest size. This was great and all but I did feel a little sloshy after... too much. It was still delicious though.

Chocolate shavings on the top. NBD.
6. Tried to have a bonfire with Julie and her sister, Lisa. Sadly, it was sort of unsuccessful but still really fun. We then went to get donuts at Marty's which can always brighten up any evening.
7. Sunday was uneventful except for brief periods of church, napping, eating, and homeworking. The same goes for Monday until 5pm when.....
8. I GOT TO GO HOMEEEEEEE! My grandparents picked me up after class and we headed north to the great land of New Hampshire. I then feasted on a hearty meal and some apple crisp. After that was completed I rolled myself into the car and Mom and I came home to this:
A nineteen pound bundle of love and fur

Following the trend here, I have a feeling that my next 93738 posts will be about my studying woes and how I'm about to die in various studying spots on or off campus. For example, right now I'm sitting on the floor of Barnes & Noble with my roommate, Victoria. After chugging my $5 Starbuck's chai tea latte in all of 2 minutes, my back is aching from leaning up against some odd-looking Wiccan books (which seem to be weirdly popular because customers keep stopping by and I have to awkwardly shuffle away on the carpeted floor). Anywhoodle (once again, I'm trying to make this catchy phrase work even though I can't say it in front of Anna or Julie anymore because they're just not having it), I'm spending my precious study time blogging about how I have no time and I'm working in the Writing Center tonight and I have to write this research paper and then my Tutoring paper and why am I an English major (?) and I HAVE A SPANISH EXAM TOMORROW MORNING. ¡Qué divertido! ¡Qué interesante!

¡Adiós!

Dying in the stacks

Julie and I will most likely become Rec. & Leisure majors, thanks to our Intro to English class. Because of this class, we now know that our previous ways of writing good theses are now out the window. Right now we are happily sitting in the third floor of the library. It looks like it's meant to be a children's room: lots of old children's books, alphabet posters along the ceiling, and a tattered world map. Not sure where this room came from and why we've never stumbled upon it before... Although I would like to say that we are working on our research projects (in addition to Facebook stalking, blogging, and awkwardfamilyphotos.com), we have yet to make any considerable amount of progress.
